Dr Ciara Clarke

Butternut Box in-house vet & researcher

Dr Ciara Clarke (BSc Hons, BVSc Honorary Colours, MRCVS) completed an honours degree in Microbiology from University College Dublin and has a special interest in the dog microbiome (ask her anything about poop). She qualified as a vet in 2009 with honorary colours and alongside Butternut Box, continues to work in clinical practice.

Dr Holly Mash (BVSc MRCVS GDVWHM CVA) studied at the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies, where she became the first vet in the UK to be awarded a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Western Herbal Medicine, in 2015. Holly has a successful referral practice and uses holistic modalities she has learned over the years.

Sarah Whitehead

Behaviourist and trainer

Sarah Whitehead, BA(Hons), MSc, CCAB is a highly qualified and experienced animal behaviourist. Sarah specialities are aggression in dogs, puppy development, adolescent dog issues, and canine and feline body language and facial expression. She is the author of 26 books and is a full member of The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors.
